Waylon Payne is returning to the road this fall as the opener on Elizabeth Cook’s 11-date Aftermath Tour, which kicks off in New York City at Mercury Lounge on Thurs., Aug. 12. The pair will make stops in markets including Washington D.C., L.A., Austin, Seattle, Phoenix, and more.
Payne has also been selected to open some dates for fellow Texan Robert Earl Keen during July as well. The country troubadour will share songs from his album Blue Eyes, The Harlot, The Queer, The Pusher & Me, which was touted as one of 2020’s best by NPR, VICE, Rolling Stone, Stereogum, Garden & Gun and many more.
