T-Mobile is extending its Binge On free data program to include video from Spotify, Tidal, Qello Concerts and Google Play Music.
Audio from these services had already been included in the offering which exempts streaming from preferred content providers from counting toward the users data caps.
Under T-Mobile’s Binge On plan, more than 80 video services do not count towards a user’s data cap. Added today are Google Play Music, Great Big Story, NBC, Kiswe, Ligonier Ministries, NOGGIN (Nickelodeon), Qello Concerts, Radio Disney, Univision, Univision Noticias, Spotify, TIDAL, and Toon Goggles.
“In the six months since we launched Binge On, the number of video providers streaming free without using your data has grown more than 240%,” said T-Mobile president and CEO John Legere, in a statement. “We’ve got something for everyone, and customers never have to worry about getting slammed with ridiculous overage penalties.”
