Veteran UMG exec Jeremy Erlich has joined Spotify as Head of Music Strategy. His most recent post was as Interscope CFO and EVP Business Development.

I’m very happy to announce that I’m joining Spotify as the Head of Music Strategy. I’ll be responsible for the North American Editorial & Global Curation Strategy teams, as well as the Music team’s strategy and operations, and work to further strengthen Spotify’s relationships in the creative community. I’m excited that my efforts will remain focused on artists, songwriters, producers, labels and publishing partners. Thanks to Daniel, Dawn and Nick for the amazing opportunity.

He will report to Nick Holmsten, Global Head of Music and be based in LA.
