Twitch Partners With Nashville’s First Genre-less Radio Station, YoCo Nashville

Twitch and Young Country, or YoCo Nashville, radio (96.7 FM) have partnered to launch a new Twitch channel that will combine live streaming and genre-less radio to reach a diverse set of people looking to unearth new types of music.

The new channel will allow up-and-coming artists in Music City in any genre to share their music with new audiences and build their brand. Produced by music producer Polow Da Don—known for hits including “London Bridge” by Fergie, “Love In This Club” by Usher, “Heaven” by Kane Brown, “Buttons” by the Pussycat Dolls—YoCo Nashville transcends genre. Past guest performances have included Mitchell Tenpenny, Teddy Swims, Lily Rose, Ernest, Willie Jones, Soulex and KSI.

With Twitch’s massive growth in this past year (over one trillion minutes watched in 2020), the partnership with YoCo Nashville will create new opportunities for musicians of any genre to create a brand and generate a following. Fans will also be able to explore a diverse range of content while interacting with their favorite musicians and checking out the behind-the-scenes of their hometown station.
