Adele’s “Hello” earned the #1 ranking as the most-streamed track on digital radio during the 12-month period ending September 30, 2016, according to data compiled by SoundExchange.

The Weeknd also had an impressive achievement, placing 3 – “The Hills” (#4), “Earned It” (#17), and “Can’t Feel My Face” (#20) – on SoundExchange’s list of the Top 20 streamed tracks of the year. With so many songs on the SoundExchange list of the Top 20 streamed tracks of the year, The Weeknd upstaged his national and artistic role model, Canadian rapper Drake.
