But with media and the trades obsessed with major labels, big hits and the Life Of Kanye, indie music doesn’t get the recognition it deserves. So Tuesday, Hypebot is launching The Business Of Indie as a first step to change that.
Much like Hypebot’s More News section, The Business Of Indie will feature a constantly updated compendium of news about the independent music business from hundreds of global sources across the web.
This is just the first step in Hypebot’s new ongoing effort to report more of the news and issues driving the growing independent music sector. We’d love to hear your your feedback and suggestions along the way.
