Spotify is partnering with Hulu to offer premium music and video streaming services bundled at a discount price. College students will be the first to save, but the music streamer says it will expand bundles with Hulu to the broader consumer market.

Spotify and Hulu have partnered to offer U.S. college students a combined streaming entertainment bundle at a discounted $4.99 per month. Previously, this 50% off package to students was for music only.
Eligible students can now sign up for Spotify Premium for Students, now with Hulu to stream music, as well as, television shows and movies through a single $4.99 plan.
The Spotify Hulu bundle for students is a precursor to more offerings targeted at the broader market, according to Spotify.
“In bringing Spotify and Hulu together, we’re now able to offer students – both the millions already on Spotify Premium, and those who are new to Spotify – access to the world’s best music, TV and movie content in the simplest possible way,” said Alex Norstrom, Chief Premium Business Officer at Spotify. “We’re very excited to be partnering with Hulu – a like-minded company which is as focused as we are on delivering the very best in high quality streaming content.”
