Snoop Dogg Admits To Pirating Jay-Z’s 4:44 Because He Doesn’t Subscribe To TIDAL

image from i.ytimg.comThe only way to stream Jay-Z’s “4:44” is as a previous subscriber to his Tidal music streaminging service or if you’re a Sprint customer. That briefly stymied Snoop Dogg, who wanted to hear his friend’s new recording and promote it to his own fans. His solution? Pirate it.

To listen to Jay-Z’s new TIDAL and Sprint exclusive album “4.44,” Snoop Dogg did what many other fans have had to do, pirate it.

“I want to shoot a shoutout to JAY-Z, just dropped another motherfucking hot album, 444,” said Snoop. “But you know what, I don’t got TIDAL, so a nigga had to bootleg it to me. I’m on iTunes and shit, I don’t understand this. Y’all got to explain that to me. I went to iTunes looking for his album and I couldn’t find it but my homie had to send it to me. But shoutout to JAY-Z, my nigga. He did it again.”

Snoop could have downloaded the album on TIDAL or he could have waited about a week when “4.44” will reportedly be available on other music services.
