Music tech accelerator Project Music has named its next class. In its third year, the Nashville based 16 week program filled four slots from 120 global applicants.

The Nashville Entrepreneur Center and Country Music Association’s Project Music 2017 Accelerator has named for early stage startups to its 2018 class.
The sixteen-week program will immerse these music tech entrepreneurs in Nashville’s $11 billion plus music industry, introduce them to the local entrepreneurial ecosystem and connect them to the investment community while helping them build their tech companies.

- Scripturally Sound: Kimberly Lannear, CEO (Tennessee)
- Hi Karl: Florian Doumenc, CEO (New York)
The four were chosen from 120 applications from the United States, France, Spain, Australia and Mexico.
$40,000 In Funding For Each Startup
Industry leaders joined an investor group to provide $40,000 in funding for each startup. They include RCA recording artist Chris Young, Galante Entertainment, Clint Higham of Higham Management, Maverick, McClusky PMN Investments (A Jeff McClusky, Ryan Carey & Roy D’Souza Partnership), Red Light Management, SESAC Inc., Marion Kraft of ShopKeeper Management, Sony/ATV Music Publishing, Universal Music Group Nashville, and Warner Music Group Nashville.
“The Project Music accelerator continues to be supported by virtually every aspect of the music industry,” notes Joe Galante, Project Music co-founder and EC master mentor. “Managers, major labels, artists, publishing, PRO’s, and industry leaders have come together to not only provide funding, but to identify and nurture opportunities to advance the industry through tech innovation.”
