We’re proud to announce that the Point Blank Recordings single, ‘When I Think About It’, by Brian McKnight Jr. and PB student John Kerfoot aka Kerfo, features in the new motion picture, People Just Do Nothing: Big In Japan.
‘When I Think About It’ is an emotional cut, which sees Kerfo lay down a stripped back EDM beat to accompany Brian McKnight Jr‘s soulful vox. The track joined a stellar lineup of others on the film’s soundtrack, including Conducta and Sammy Virji’s ‘Whippet’, ‘Deep Inside’ by Harddrive, ‘138 Trek’ by Zinc and more. During his time studying with Point Blank, Kerfo entered and won a remix competition through the school, having his winning entry picked up by Universal and released later that year.

The film follows the Kurupt FM crew as they go to Japan to strike a record deal following their track, ‘Heart Monitor Riddem’, finding phenomenal success in the East Asian country. In Japan, Kurupt FM are assigned a manager, Taka, and a translator Miki. The introduction of Taka proves antagonistic for Chabuddy, who notices Taka trying to replace him as their manager. As you can expect, an epic adventure in search of fame and fortune ensues.
