Patreon has announced that there are now more than 3 million patrons supporting more than 100,000 musicians and other creators. The fan patronage platform is on track to pay creators half a billion in 2019 alone.
In the last year, the number of patrons around the globe increased from 2 million to 3 million.
This year, Patreon will also pass pass $1 billion paid to cretors paid to creators since launching in 2013. To date, Patreon has raised $105.9 million in funding over 4 rounds. Their latest round as in September of 2017 as a Series C.
