The Music Manager’s Forum announced that Red Light Management’s Lisa Ward and live music and artist development platform ILUVLIVE managing director Rachael Bee have been newly elected to the organization’s board of directors.
As Red Light’s EVP Artist Strategy, Ward works with a management team that represents more than 70 artists – including Bastille, Belle & Sebastian, Everything Everything, Franz Ferdinand and Kaiser Chiefs. Her previous experience includes more than a decade at Universal Music Group where she was a label manager at Fiction Records.
Bee manages f Izzy Bizu, Emmavie and Jords through ILUVLIVE. Operating since 2004, ILUVLIVE is one of Arts Council England’s National Portfolio Organisations and now resident across 5 UK cities. The organization played a key role in the early careers of artists including Ed Sheeran, Jessie J, Tinie Tempah, Emeli Sande, Chip, Wretch 32 and Katy B.
ATC’s Ric Salmon, Everybody’s Adam Tudhope, and Ferocious’s Kwame Kwaten have all been re-elected to serve another term. Erik Nielsen of Rocket Music & Joey Swarbrick of Woof Music will step back from their roles on the board, the MMF said.
The news was given to members at the organization’s AGM yesterday evening, held at the offices of Kobalt.
