According to TMZ, Future has been sued for breaching his contract with A1 Recordings.
Back in 2011, the Rapper signed a six-album deal with A1 Recordings. But, later also signed a distribution contract with Epic Records, as well as a separate deal for record advances.
A1 Recordings owner, Rocko claims that these separate deals with Epic Records cut him out of his profits, and as a result has filed a $10 million lawsuit against the Hip Hop artist. By filing the legal papers, Rocko plans to get the 25% of Future’s Epic Records advances as well as 20% of Future’s earnings from touring and endorsements.
Future took to Twitter after finding out about the legal filing. Below is a series of posts Future tweeted…
At this time, Future seems to be finding the lawsuit humorous, but this will most likely change as the case builds. Like most lawsuits this case will probably end up being messy.
