The latest executive shuffles across the music industry…
Universal Music Group (UMG) has hired Graham Parker as President of UMG’s U.S. classical labels. Parker will report to Dickon Stainer, President & CEO of Global Classics, UMG and Danny Bennett, President & CEO, Verve Label Group. The role will be based in New York.
Kobalt has hired Lonny Olinick as Senior Vice President, Strategic Business Development. Olinick will be responsible for finding new technology opportunities and the role will be effective immediately. Olinick will report to Kobalt’s founder & CEO, Willard Ahdritz and he will be based in Los Angeles.

Live Nation Canada has promoted Erik Hoffman from Senior Vice President of Talent in Vancouver to President of Talent in Toronto.Hoffman has worked for Live Nation for the past 12 years and previously worked for PRS Concerts Canada, where he served for just over 6 years as Director of Talent. Live Nation Canada also hired John May as Executive Vice President, Media and Corporate Partnerships.
