Eventbrite, the popular indie and D.I.Y. ticketer, has reportedly filed for an IPO for later this year. The company’s lead underwriters are Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan Chase, according to the Wall Street Journal.
Eventbrite has raised $330 million to date, and helps sell more than three million tickets to concerts, festivals and other events every week. It provides ticketing for millions of events in more than 180 countries, with $10 billion in cumulative sales since launch.
In 2017, Eventbrite acquired U.S. concert ticketer Ticketfly from Pandora for a bargain basement $200 million. The company also expanded internationally, acquiring Spain’s Ticketea, Amsterdam-based Ticketscript among others.
Eventbrite is led Julia Hartz, one of a handful of women music industry co-founders and CEOs.
