Apple Music has improved how its displays an artist’s albums and singles. Previously, tracks, collections and albums were lumped together, forcing the user to scroll through dozens of often redundant releases to find what they are looking for.
The design was particularly damaging for new or unfamiliar artist with multiple releases.
As of today, Apple Music has separate sections for studio albums (displayed first), live albums, compilations, and singles/EPs on the artist’s pages. There is also a new “Essential Albums” displayed for most major artists right under their top songs.
