PledgeMusic and Help Musicians UK continue their Emerging Artists Fund, a talent development initiative to benefit emerging artists. Targeting acts with a genuine ‘DIY’ drive to build a long-term career, the scheme will enable selected artists to run their own PledgeMusic campaign and to access a top-up grant from Help Musicians UK once they hit their funding target.
To help select the applicants and make the final decisions as to who will be the Emerging Artists Fund awardees, the following six esteemed panel members have graciously given their time and efforts.

THE PEARL HARTS
PledgeMusic Artist
Singing songs about making deals with the devil, the open road, bad love and long youthful summers, The Pearl Harts (Kirsty and Sara) write timeless songs with choruses you can yell and riffs that will spin around your head for days. In 2013 the duo put on their first show at infamous rock hangout Crobar in central London. Causing a stir with their self-released single ‘Wolf Eyes’ – they soon caught the attention of blogs and press on both sides of the Atlantic and radio play on the BBC, Absolute Radio and a live session with John Kennedy on XFM.
It has been their fearless live reputation that has seen The Pearl Harts tearing up stages all across Europe; playing audiences of up 10,000 even before the release of a debut album. Their tenacious DIY approach to promoting their band has lead to invitations to support rock heavyweight rock acts such as Garbage, Skunk Anansie and Stereophonics, with Shirley Manson proclaiming that they are “badass girls with all the right stuff.” Retreating into their basement in the second half of 2016, they now have their debut album ready to be unleashed onto the world.
