Music Health Alliance (MHA) has tapped Carla Denham for the newly created role of Chief External Relations Officer.
Denham joins the team of 12, including MHA founder and CEO, Tatum Allsep, and CFO and Certified Senior Advisor, Shelia Shipley Biddy. The award-winning organization has provided free healthcare advocacy and support to more than 18,000 music industry members across 49 states in its nine-year history.
Denham’s career has been focused on the purpose-driven brand business. She has led and grown brand marketing agencies in Tennessee, California, and Hawaii, including Rowland Worldwide, a division of Saatchi-Saatchi, one of the world’s largest marketing/advertising agencies. The award-winning marketing executive has also led strategic and creative campaigns to support brands such as World Vision, Feed the Children, Soles4Souls, Max Lucado, Sarah Young, TWR, Awana, Metro World Child, HarperCollins, National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, Cooper Industries, Jennie Allen, Philips Electronics, Magnavox, Shoney’s, Gymboree, and Chick-fil-A.
