Reservoir Media, Inc., an award-winning independent music company, officially began trading its common stock and warrants on the Nasdaq Capital Market LLC on July 29, 2021.
On Monday, Aug. 30, a team of Reservoir staff—including Reservoir Nashville’s EVP Creative, John Ozier—were able to ring the Opening Bell at the Nasdaq in celebration of its recent IPO.
To mark the occasion, Reservoir writer and one third of Migos, Offset, joined the Reservoir team in person in Times Square, while others members of the company’s roster, staff, partners, and friends participated virtually.
Founded as a family-owned music publisher in 2007, Reservoir has grown to represent over 130,000 copyrights and 26,000 master recordings with titles dating as far back as 1900, and hundreds of No. 1 releases worldwide. The catalog includes evergreen compositions such as “It’s Your Thing” by The Isley Brothers, “Ring of Fire” by Johnny Cash, “Take Me Home, Country Roads” by John Denver, and “Señorita” by Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello. Notable roster signings include Ben Harper, Migos’ Offset and Takeoff, 2 Chainz, Danja, James Fauntleroy, and Ali Tamposi.
