Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit have announced their fifth residency at the Ryman Auditorium running through eight nights in the month of October.
This newest residency, the group’s seventh appearance at the mother church of country music, will mark the longest run the group has had at the Ryman to date. The shows will take place on October 15, 16, 17, 19, 20, 22, 23, and 24. Tickets go on sale this Friday, July 16 at 10 a.m. CT at ryman.com.
The eight-night residency’s first show will open with Amanda Shires, member of the 400 Unit and Highwomen, and Isbell’s wife. The remaining dates highlight a Black female opening lineup featuring Brittney Spencer, Mickey Guyton, Amythyst Kiah, Shemekia Copeland, Allison Russell, Joy Oladokun and Adia Victoria, respectively. With a history of selling out 20+ consecutive nights at the Ryman, Isbell’s return and full slate of 2021 tour dates marks his first time touring in support of his latest album, Reunions, released in May 2020.
