Our resident Ableton genius (and Certified Ableton Trainer) Thomas Glendenning is back with another of his famed Ableton tutorials. This time we take a look at Simpler, Ableton’s streamlined version of its main sampler, aptly called Sampler, and how you can use any sound and turn it into an instrument and play it with your keyboard. He teaches the very basics and concepts of the programme, as well as some of the manipulation controls you can use to twist your sounds however you see fit. For a full introduction to Ableton Live, check out our introductory courses in London and Online.
The intro courses are just the beginning – we offer tuition right up to degree level with our BA (Hons) in Music Production and Sound Engineering, which is also available to study online. We have also just launched our new degree, the BA (Hons) in Music Production and DJ Practice, which has a greater emphasis on performance. All of our degrees are quality assured by Middlesex University. If you have any questions or would like to book a studio tour, get in touch.
