Before his performance to close out Coachella on Sunday night, Eminem tried his hand at something new – selling pasta at an onsite pop-up restaurant. Eminem’s food stand, “Moms Spaghetti,” sold pasta with sides including garlic bread, meatballs, and mozzarella.

According to the Los Angeles Times, the food at Eminem’s pasta stand at Coachella was locally sourced from a commissary kitchen and sold for $9 dollars for the basic meal, or $12 dollars with meatballs. He also sold a spaghetti sandwich for $11 dollars.
While spaghetti might seem like an unusual choice for a pop-up restaurant, the dish was a callout to a lyric in Em’s signature 2002 hit “Lose Yourself:”
“His palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy/there’s vomit on his sweater already—Mom’s spaghetti.”
Eminem hyped the pop-up restaurant with a post on his social media, and fans were greeted with a billboard apprising them of the culinary option on the highway to Indio. Last year, he launched a popup with the same name in his hometown of Detroit ahead of the launch of his latest album “Revival.”
