U-Live, Universal Music’s entertainment division, has elevated Sally Davies to Managing Director. Prior to her promotion, Davies worked as the company’s Chief Operating Officer.
Sony Music UK has hired Julie Weir to manage Music For Nations. Weir specializes in rock and metal music and will work with Sony to sign up-and-coming artists within these genres. Prior to this new role, Weir founded Visible Noise, a British Independent record label, where she signed and managed a number of notable rock and metal musicians.

Capitol Records has hired Andrew Keller as Vice President, A&R. Keller comes from 13 years at Sony Music Columbia Records. Keller’s new role will involve signing and developing artists as well as overlooking established artists already signed. The role will be based in New York.
Creative Artist Agency (CAA) has hired Matteo Perale to help the company’s growth and expansion plans. Additionally, Perale will be helping the company to acquire other businesses in the digital and sports field. The position will be based in Los Angeles.
