Feldstein career wasn’t without controversy.

In 2014 Sara Bareilles fired Feldstein following a heated exchange between Feldstein and Sharon Osbourne at the Clive Davis/Recording Academy-sponsored pre-Grammy gala.

The fight at the swank Beverly Hilton Hotel apparently erupted over comments Feldstein made about Sharon’s son Jack and his wife.

According to E! Online, Feldstein was first spotted in the ballroom arguing with Jack’s sister Kelly, with her mother Sharon following up after her daughter stormed away from Feldstein’s table.

“Sharon walked up to him pointing her finger and screaming,” an eyewitness said. With Bareilles seated nearby, Feldstein and Sharon Osbourne apparently got into an exchange that resulted in Osbourne tipping over a plate of food on his lap and throwing water at his head.

Feldstein got his start in the entertainment industry working for ICM and Bill Leopold Management. He and Maroon 5’s front man Adam Levine were friends from childhood, and Feldstein managed Maroon 5 from their inception, guiding the band as they became one of music’s most successful international touring acts.

Feldstein is a father to two children and was previously married twice, once to Francesca Eastwood, the daughter of Clint Eastwood. The 2013, marriage was annulled after a week.

His family asked for privacy during this difficult and unexpected time. “In lieu of food and flowers, the family will announce a charity in the coming weeks where memorial donations can be made in Jordan’s name,” said a family statement.

Live Nation also released a statement. “We are deeply saddened by the sudden passing of Jordan Feldstein and extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends. Jordan was a gifted manager whose artists benefited greatly from his guidance and talents. He will be missed by his Live Nation and Roc Nation family.”
