Lightning Strikes Thrice For Thor At Weekend Movie Box Office

The movie, Disney and Marvel’s third entry into the “Thor” series, also continued its roll internationally, adding a total of $272.4M worldwide in all markets over the weekend. 

“Ragnarok‘s” weekend results propelled it to the fourth-largest debut of 2017, behind Beauty and the Beast ($174.8 million), Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 ($146.5 million), and It ($123.4 million).

STX Entertainment’s “A Bad Moms Christmas” took the #2 spot both in the US and international markets, debuting to $17.0M an d $23.7M respectively.
