Three years after selling Playlist.net to Warner Music Group and establishing the major’s own Topsify playlist brand, Kieron Donoghue is leaving the label group to start a new venture. The future of streaming-focused WMG label Artists To Watch, which he led and has logged 50 million streams, remains unclear.

Kieron Donoghue, who ran Warner Music Group’s Topsify playlist brand and Artists To Watch streaming record label has exited the company after three years. “My next step will be to launch my own venture again,” wrote Donoghue, who was Warmer Music’s Vice President, Global Playlists Strategy & Curation, “3 years in a corporate was great but I have that entrepreneurial itch to scratch.”
