Above Board Distribution
Dance music specialist Above Board Distribution is looking for two junior members to join the team part time. You will learn how dance labels and distribution operates at ground level and learn about marketing music. The role includes picking and packing for Bandcamp orders, updating the website with new releases, social network posting for their digital team’s accounts, sending Artists and labels updates on the releases, assisting the digital and vinyl teams. This is an incredible opportunity to gain experience with one of the most respected distributors in the industry. You must be passionate about dance music (PB students have definitely got that covered!) and keen to learn the nuts and bolts of putting out music.

Rising Sounds 2018
Last week’s opportunity from Roundhouse is still open. They are offering an incredible opportunity to work with some top producers on your own track. Taking part this year are GAIKA, Femme, DJ Ronika, Margo Broom, Bayoz Musik (producer of Giggs’ ‘Look What The Cat Dragged In’), and more. All you need is to have an idea of a track you would like to record and an open mind. Entrants will be able to spend half a day in pre-production with a producer or songwriter and two days in the studio with an engineer or producer to record their track. Your professionally mastered track will be included in the Rising 2018 compilation album and you’ll be invited to the album launch at Roundhouse Rising Festival 2018.
