YouTube is disabling the ability to automatically repost activity (uploads, liked videos, etc.) on Twitter and Google+ as of January 31st.
“We’ve found that sharing these actions with a custom message (instead of through automatically generated posts) provides a better experience for the sharer and their followers on other social networks,” YouTube said in an email to creators.
You can continue to easily share videos to your social network:
- On the watch page on any device: click Share, then click on the social network icon
- For more information on sharing videos, check out this YouTube help center article.
