Warner Music Group has hired Michael Drexler as VP, Digital Strategy & Corporate Development and Allan Coye as VP, Digital Strategy & Business Development. Based in New York, both will report to Ole Obermann, WMG’s Chief Digital Officer & EVP, Business Development; and are his first hires since he joining the company late last year.
Michael Drexler joins WMG from BMI, where he served as Executive Director since 2010. He will focus his efforts on strategic investments and corporate development.
Allan Coye most recently served as Vice President, Strategy & Business Development at Viacom Music & Entertainment Group. At WMG, he will help develop digital strategy and manage key partner relationships.
