For this week’s Track of the Week, we’re spotlighting Loraine James’ new cut, ‘Simple Stuff’. Each week we will be sharing a track, album or mix which deserves your attention. Tune in below.
‘Simple Stuff’ is taken from the London producer’s forthcoming album, Reflection, which is set to be released on 4th June via Kode9’s Hyperdub imprint. The track is a percussive number, driven forward from start to finish by sporadic drum hits and a cryptic vocal that simply repeats, “I like the simple stuff, you like the simple things—what does that bring to me?”
