Located within Mack Sennett Studios, one of the oldest remaining sound stages in Los Angeles, Point Blank LA resonates with over a hundred years of cultural history. However, while we regularly run tours of our LA school for potential students, we appreciate that getting first-hand insight into the environs we offer may not be so convenient for everyone. For those who are eager to get an inside look at PBLA but can’t make the trip in person, this virtual tour is an attempt to capture the unique, creative environment, the facilities that we offer and importantly, what the student experience is actually like here at Point Blank Los Angeles. We’ve recently added a brand new studio to our complex within Mack Sennett, with each workstation fully equipped with top of the range production tools for students to work with.

PBLA is based at the newly restored Mack Sennett Studios in Silver Lake, a historic sound stage and studio complex. It’s now a hub for the music, fashion and art worlds.
Each student will work on a fully equipped workstation, like the ones seen here in our newest studio.
Learn to DJ with with our new Complete DJ course and you’ll acquire essential skills on top of the range equipment meaning you’ll be soon be ready to DJ in any club environment
Classes are taught by professional DJs on high quality pro kit including CDJ2000 NX2S, DJM900 NXS2, PLX-1000, XDJ-1000, XDJ-700, Remix Station 1000, HDJ2000MK2 and lots more

The Music Production & Sound Design Diploma covers production, sound design, engineering, DJing, mixing and how to manage a career. It features Ableton Live and Native Instruments’ Komplete and, should you wish, you can substitute the DJ module for the NI Maschine class
Every production station at PBLA comes with NI’s Komplete Kontrol S-Series keyboard, Ableton Push, AIAIAI TMA-1 Studio Headphones, Maschine and more
Frequent masterclasses are led by our instructors and guest artists, including Mr. Carmack (above, leading a Forward Thinkers workshop)
