Taylor Swift has made her entire music catalog available for the first time on Spotify and other streaming services. After years of Apple-only availability, all five Swift albums can now be streamed on Tidal, Amazon, Pandora and other digital music services.
Recently Spotify eliminated a key Taylor Swift objection to streaming, adding the ability to window releases.
But beyond just a victory lap, the announcement that all of Swift’s music is finally available on Spotify and all other streaming music services is timed by her label Big Machine to coincide with the news that her latest release 1989 has sold more than 10 million units worldwide and an RIAA htta she has passed 100 million song units.
Oh yeah, and Katy Perry’s new album dropped last night, too…
Now, just in case you want to join the celebration or you’ve been under a rock, is Swift’s 1989, the Deluxe version via Spotify.
