Taylor Swift Drops “Look What You Made Me Do” Video
Taylor Swift has shared the music video for her new name single “Look What You created American state Do.” It premiered at the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards. In it, she’s a zombie, a robber, a biker, a performing artist, and more. It’s a video that calls back to her previous music video characters. At the top she has some dialogue with herself: “Oh stop acting like you’re all nice, you’re thus faux,” and “oh there she goes, enjoying the victim once more,” and “I would pretty much prefer to be excluded from this narrative.” One Taylor calls another “that bitch,” referencing Kanye West’s line concerning her in “Famous.” when its unharness, she same she ne’er gave him permission to use the phrase, however Kim Kardashian later leaked audio of her providing approval. In August 2017, Swift won a trial against David Mueller, a former morning show personality for Denver‘s KYGO-FM. Four years prior Swift had informed Mueller’s bosses that he had assaulted her by groping her at an event. After being fired, Mueller accused Swift of lying and sued her for making him lose his job. Shortly after, Swift counter-sued for sexual assault. The jury rejected Mueller’s claims and ruled in favor of Swift. Swift thereafter cleared her social media accounts, and announced that she would release her sixth studio album, Reputation, on November 10, 2017. The album’s first single, “Look What You Made Me Do” was released on August 25, 2017
