Electronic and urban music distribution and label services company Symphonic Distribution is making moves to bolster their marketing team with three new senior hires.
AJ Alvarez joins the company as Director of Client Marketing & Playlist Promotion, Teddy Tutson joins as Director of Video Strategy, and Jon Mizrachi joins as Senior Director of Sync Licensing.
Alvarez comes to the position from VP Music Group, where she spent three years as Digital Sales Manager, Tutson was previously the manager of digital video and audience development at Fuse Media, while Mizrachi spent 12 years at Carlin America music publishing in New York as Creative Director for synchronization licensing in film, television and advertising.
Commenting on the recent appointments, Nick Gordon, Chief Client Officer and GM of Symphonic’s New York office, said: “Artists, labels, and managers now have a 100% independent, boutique solution for developing, marketing, and distributing their artists.”
“No longer are the only options bare bones DIY or major label owned distributors, where artists and labels struggle for attention. With the addition of these senior hires to our growing team, our artists and labels now have a best in breed marketing team in their corner.”
All three will work out of Symphonic’s Brooklyn office.
