Consumer audio electronics maker Skullcandy announced the launch of “Now Feel This,” a national concert series dedicated to showcasing emerging artists, along with a podcast series to showcase the artists.
The first set of concerts kicks off on May 18th in New York with a performance by the Louisville-based punk band White Reaper. Spanish indie rock outfit Hinds is next on deck when they perform in San Fran on May 26, followed by the Minnesota-based indie rock duo Now, Now who will perform in San Fran on July 28th.

“Skullcandy’s mission is to unleash the visceral power of music for all through its innovative audio products and its support of emerging artists that are creating incredible content,” said Jessica Klodnicki, Chief Marketing Officer of Skullcandy. “With the Now Feel This concert series, we’re able to provide a live platform for musicians to tell their stories to a wider audience.”
Additional shows in the concert series will be announced, and continue through the year before culminating with a final concert and live stream during the Sundance Film Festival in Skullcandy’s hometown of Park City, Utah.
New Podcast
To coincide with Now Feel This, Skullcandy will also launch a podcast, “You Feel Me?”, hosted by Lee Shaner, who previously hosted the music podcast Kinda Neat. The podcasts will showcase the artists headlining the series, and will be available via the usual culprits like YouTube, iTunes, Spotify, and Google Play Music.
