SiriusXM Has a 24Hour Prince Tribute Channel Coming Our Way

SiriusXM Has a 24Hour Prince Channel Coming Our Way If you’re a Prince fan, check out the SiriusXM app…

Shortly after news broke of Prince passing yesterday, artists, social media platforms, music services, and even the President paid tribute to the legendary pop icon.

Typically when an artist dies, their music fans flock to buy, download, and stream their music. But, as Prince regained all the rights to his music publishing and recordings and was largely against streaming services except for Tidal, it has ultimately made it difficult for music fans to listen to a full range of his music.

Prince’s songs and albums have already hit number one on iTunes – Yesterday, ”the top eight best-selling songs were all by the artist and eight of the top ten best-selling albums were from the singer”, reports Variety.

But, now the American broadcasting company, Sirius XM has announced that they will be launching a dedicated Tribute channel to Prince that will be running up until April 29th. The Channel will play music throughout his career from his early days to his latest music like ‘HITnRUN Phase One’. Also, as well as his own music, there will also be music played that he wrote and created for other artists in the industry.

The Prince Tribute Channel will be available both online and through the SiriusXM app.
