Just days after we broke the story of major layoffs, music streamer Rhapsody has confirmed that it will rebrand as Napster in the US. The company had already been using the Napster brand, which it acquired in 2011, in other countries.
“Rhapsody is becoming Napster”, said the company. “No changes to your playlists, favorites, albums, and artists. Same music. Same service. Same price. 100% the music you love. Stay tuned!”
