RCA Records recording artist Rachel Wammack has signed a worldwide publishing deal with Double Down Music, the recently launched publishing division of PIA Music Group.
The 27-year-old Muscle Shoals, Alabama native was selected for CMT’s Next Women of Country and Bobby Bones’ Class of 2019. Wammack was also named one of Paste Magazine’s 10 Country Artists to Watch in 2020, while earning 2019 Artist to Watch acclaim from multiple outlets including Entertainment Weekly, AOL, Pandora, MusicRow, Pop Culture, Sounds Like Nashville, and more.
Last year Wammack also introduced several new tracks including “When I Say Amen,” “What He Does,” and her take on The Greatest Showman’s “A Million Dreams.”
“The first time I wrote with Rachel, it took less than one minute to know I wanted her to be a part of the Double Down family,” says PIA Music Group Founder Dallas Davidson. “She has a rare talent that I have only seen a few times in my career. Rachel has a natural-born, God-given talent, that can’t be taught. Her voice, her phrasing, her melodies and lyrics make her what I refer to as the total package. We are so thankful that Rachel is calling Double Down her publishing home!”
