music publishingReservoir, the New York based music publishing company, which includes UK based Reverb Music, has promoted Rell Lafargue to President and Chief Operating Officer. Since 2008, Lafargue has served as COO. 

• Joe Walsh, songwriter the Eagles’ “Life In the Fast Lane” and “In The City,” has signed with Sony/ATV Music Publishing for representation in all territories.

• Kobalt has hired Avid Larizadeh Duggan as EVP and Chief Strategy & Business Officer. The London-based exec joins from Google Ventures where she was general partner and was in charge of GV’s investment in Kobalt.

• Carlin Music Publishing, home to 100,000 songs from songs the likes of Elvis Presley, James Brown, AC/DC and Billie Holiday has closed its $240 million sale to Round Hill Music, Variety has confirmed.
