We’re excited to announce that on December 16th from 1 pm onwards we are hosting another Point Blank Music School open day at our state-of-the-art studio facility at 26 Orsman Road, London, N1 5QJ. This event will feature an exclusive talk from a very special guest: Benny Scarrs – a former A&R for Island Records who now manages UK rap sensation Dave as well as signed Tinchy Stryder and helped kick off his career. Benny Scarrs is a Point Blank Music School alumni who since graduating has achieved some incredible feats. He’s been working in the music industry for a number of years now having been involved with events booking talents such as Professor Green, Mr Hudson, Labyrinth and many more. Following this, the West Londoner stepped into the A&R space working as an assistant and then a scout before becoming an A&R himself signing his first act, the breakthrough grime star, Tinchy Stryder. Now, Benny Scarrs is working with some of the most exciting artists in the UK scene and beyond helping uncover the next generation of talent.

In addition to hearing Benny Scarrs discuss his inspiring journey and provide a wealth of golden advice, our open day will give you the chance to learn more about our Higher Education music production, sound engineering, DJ and music industry courses as well as have a look around our studios and facilities and meet our expert lecturers. In addition to this, you are invited to look around our custom-made studios which were built with our partners Pioneer DJ, Native Instruments, ADAM Audio and more. You’ll also be able to check out the spaces key features including our industry-leading, 48-channel SSL Duality Delta mixing console and ask our team any questions.
