Matthew West‘s current single, “Me on Your Mind,” landed in the top spot on the charts this week, marking his 20th No. 1.
West has been a mainstay on the Christian charts since his debut in 2003, scoring No. 1s with his hits “Hello My Name Is,” “Grace Wins,” “Broken Things,” “Truth Be Told,” and more. A writer with Combustion Music for the past 14 years, West has over 150 writer credits on artists spanning the Christian and country genres and has held multi-week No. 1s with Casting Crowns, Anne Wilson, Danny Gokey and more.
West’s accolades include Billboard‘s 2021 Christian Songwriter of the Year, multiple ASCAP Christian Songwriter of the Year wins, five Grammy nominations, multiple K-Love Fan Awards and more.
On top of being a successful artist and writer, West hosts the two-million-plus downloaded podcast, The Matthew West Podcast, has written four books with the fifth due in September, and has sold-out tour stops throughout the country.
He will be hosting “A Night of Worship at the Mother Church” at the Ryman Auditorium on Aug. 21.
