About 22 staffers have been laid off at Billboard and The Hollywood Reported as part of a restructuring by parent company Valance Media.
Dana Miller, chief marketing officer for both publications, was among those cut, according to multiple sources, along with most of her of her New York-based staff. Billboard magazine managing editor Jayme Klock has also reportedly exited, but it’s unclear if that happened just prior to Thursday’s layoffs.
Valence Media launched just over a year ago as a combination of the Billboard-Hollywood Reporter Media Group, dick clark productions and MRC.
