If you’ve ever been interested in studying music production or sound engineering but can’t make it to our school in London or any of our global locations, studying with us online could be the perfect solution. Our online school makes our world-renowned content and tuition available at your fingertips, wherever you are on the planet.
To give you an idea of what the tuition at our online school is like, we’ve pulled together a lesson on how to turn a sound into an instrument in Ableton’s ‘Simpler’ directly from our online Intro to Music Production (Ableton) class.
In this video, PB instructor Thomas Glendinning takes us through the features of Simpler. Developed from the ground up as a sampler, sounds put into it can be turned into a working instrument scalable via pitch. First, Thomas goes over the controls that we have over the sample itself, then we’re shown how Simpler can be used to transform almost any sound into a playable musical instrument.
This teaser is just one of hundreds of instructional videos available to when you enroll on an online course. You can check out our full list of courses here and see how it works in more detail below.
