ASCAP has appointed digital business strategist Tony Dunaif as Executive Vice President and head of International Affairs. He will oversee ASCAP’s international business and society relations outside of the United States.
Prior to joining ASCAP, Tony Dunaif was SVP Digital Products at iN Demand, a joint venture owned by Charter, Comcast and Cox. He began his media career at MTV Networks, where he held several senior posts over a 12-year tenure.
Dunaif’s hiring comes as part of ASCAP’s organizational transformation agenda to meet the future needs of its members. He will bring his expertise in global business development, licensing and strategy to develop international opportunities and partnerships.
His appointment follows other recent executive announcements to the ASCAP international team. CML Consultancy, led by Miew Lan Chan, is engaged by ASCAP for the Asia-Pacific region and Elizabeth Rodda was recently promoted to Vice President of International Affairs. Both will report directly to Dunaif.
