Non-profit CASH Music has a simple mission: create and share at no cost, the digital tools that independent musicians need to survive and thrive in the new music business. This week they launched a major upgrade.

Following a major upgrade this week, the CASH Music free store now supports both physical and digital releases alongside options for merchandise. In addition to the cart, CASH has added support for Stripe, so artists can now take credit cards or use PayPal.
They’ve also added geodata capture, enhancements to email collection, SSL for a more secure experience and fulfillment tools for physical orders. To improve the workflow of the platform, CASH brought in Bikini Kill and other musicians to test new ideas and give candid feedback. One result are more help and FAQs inside the platform.
Free & Non-Profit Forever
Like all CASH Music tools, the store and other tools are free. They take 0% of sales and charge no monthly fee.
CASH Music is a nonprofit focused on educating & empowering artists and their fans to foster a viable and sustainable future for music: “We believe the best way to ensure a sustainable future for music is to invest in its creators. Musicians are our partners, not our customers, and all our tools will always be free to use. As a nonprofit organization we can’t be purchased or acquired, so we aren’t going anywhere.”
