Riley Green To Launch Season 2 Of The Golden Saw Series
Season two of Riley Green’s virtual The Golden Saw Series, in partnership with Brut, will launch Thursday, Aug. 12 at 4 p.m. CT. The new season will feature songs from his recently released Behind The Bar EP.
Starting in 2020, the series was created as a way to give fans a glimpse into his hometown roots and give back to those in need through his #GetThatBandABeer initiative. As a teenager, Green’s great-grandparents’ former home was turned into The Golden Saw Music Hall as a performance venue–named after the family’s nearby sawmill–for local musicians to play on Saturday nights. That house provided the inspiration for Green to learn songwriting to the sound of an acoustic guitar.
The Golden Saw Series Release Schedule:
Thursday, Aug. 12 at 4 PM CT – Featuring special guest Jonathan Singleton
Thursday, Sept. 2 at 4 PM CT – Featuring special guests Erik Dylan & Wyatt McCubbin
Thursday, Sept. 30 at 4 PM CT – Featuring special guests Muscadine Bloodline
