Instagram has 500 million monthly active users, the company announced on Tuesday, up from 400 million last September. Growth of 100 million new users in 9 months maintains the same pace that so the photo and video based social channel has had for the last several years.
Daily active users top 300 million, Instagram also announced today. 80% of all users are outside of the US.
