Reservoir, the New York based music publishing company, which includes UK based Reverb Music, has promoted Rell Lafargue to President and Chief Operating Officer. Since 2008, Lafargue has served as COO.

• Kobalt has hired Avid Larizadeh Duggan as EVP and Chief Strategy & Business Officer. The London-based exec joins from Google Ventures where she was general partner and was in charge of GV’s investment in Kobalt.
• Carlin Music Publishing, home to 100,000 songs from songs the likes of Elvis Presley, James Brown, AC/DC and Billie Holiday has closed its $240 million sale to Round Hill Music, Variety has confirmed.
